Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belong to such as these” (Mt 19:14).

We believe that it is an honor and a privilege to participate in the nurture and admonition in the Lord of the children connected to our church body. We want to take this seriously, and do everything we can to encourage and support the ministry of parents by faithfully teaching and modeling what it means to follow Jesus. We also want to protect and care for any child that comes through the doors of our building. This means that all of our volunteers have a biblical understanding of the good news of Jesus Christ, are members in good standing who have submitted to a background check, and have received training in child care policies.

We use the Truth78 in our classrooms!

  • Make disciples

    We desire our children to be disciples of Jesus. We pray that these kids will love the Lord and want to glorify Him with their lives. (Mt. 28:16-20; Luke 18:15-17, Acts 2:38-40)

  • Provide teaching

    We seek to supplement parental teaching at home. We share with parents what their children are learning every Sunday morning. (Ex. 20:12; Deut. 6:1-9; Psalm 78:1-8; Proverbs 1:8ff; Eph. 6:1-4; 2 Tim. 1:5).

  • Support parents

    We seek to provide the opportunity for parents to receive the word of Christ without distraction. A concentrated time of hearing God’s word and fellowship with His people is not only a huge blessing to busy parents but a needed source of grace for discipling their children the rest of the week.

  • Infants & Toddlers

    Children 6 months - 2+ yrs receive a short lesson A Sure Foundation: Volume I in this classroom.

  • Preschool

    Children in preschool are taught about God’s word from A Sure Foundation: Volume II.

  • K - 1st Grade

    This class, which meets during the sermon portion of our morning gathering, uses Jesus What a Savior and the ABCs of God curriculum.

  • Foundations I

    During the school year, students Grades 2-3 are invited to dig deeper into God’s Word in class geared for them during the sermon time of our gathering. This class uses Faithful to All His Promises and In the Beginning Jesus.

  • Foundations II

    Students in Grades 4-5 remain in our church gatherings on Sunday mornings but are invited to come back on Sunday afternoons to learn about the basics of Christian life through the New City Catechism. This class meets before our evening gathering during the school year.
