Grace Harbor Community Church gathers together every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. for our main Sunday morning service at 13 Franklin St. in Providence, RI. We believe that God has always created and sanctified His people by His Word, and so our services are driven by God’s Word and the Gospel. Therefore, in these gatherings we read scripture, pray in response and in accordance with scripture, sing the truth of scripture, on a regular basis we see a visible representation of the truth of the Gospel through practicing baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and then we hear a sermon on a passage of scripture in which the main point of the sermon is the main point of the passage. Our hope is that through reading, praying, singing, seeing, and hearing God’s Word we will grow in Christ for our good and His glory.
On Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. we meet together once again in a different setting to pray for the needs and ministry of our church. This is a special way for us to close the day in community together as we hear about the different ways that we can rejoice with each other and bear each other’s burdens. It allows us to go before God in prayer for our church, our city, and the world as we share and hear about the different ways that God is working in each of these three areas. We also hear a short message from a portion of scripture that corresponds to the morning text. We conclude with a great time of fellowship together mixed with coffee, dessert, and conversation.
